We provide strategic advice and guidance to all Brex teams, protect Brex, advise on risk, and represent the company externally, negotiating with partners and interacting with regulators. As Commercial Counsel at Brex, you will be an integral and versatile member of the Legal team and will support all aspects of the Company's commercial legal efforts. You will handle legal review and negotiation of Brex customer contracts, working closely with sales and other revenue-supporting teams to close deals efficiently while protecting the Company's interests. You'll also support vendor and partner contracting, negotiating a range of contracts that serve teams and departments across Brex. You will advise on legal issues that intersect with commercial matters, and collaborate with a wide range of cross-functional partners, including deal desk, ops, procurement, privacy, security, marketing, and people. You will contribute to the development and implementation of commercial legal resources and processes, including internal policies and procedures and contracting workflows. You'll provide sound and pragmatic legal advice and take a business-oriented approach to problem solving!
This role will be based in our New York City office.We are a hybrid environment that combines the energy and connections of being in the office with the benefits and flexibility of working from home. We currently require a minimum of three coordinated days in the office per week, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. As a perk, we also have up to four weeks per year of fully remote work!
The expected salary range for this role is $220,000-$270,000 USD. However, the starting base pay will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s location, skills, experience, market demands, and internal pay parity. Depending on the position offered, equity and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package.
