Position Summary
The General Production Associate plays a key role in supporting daily manufacturing operations. This position is responsible for performing a variety of production tasks to ensure products are made safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operate production equipment and machinery in a safe and efficient manner
Perform tasks such as packaging, labeling, sorting, and product handling
Follow all food safety, quality, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met
Support team members and production lines as needed
Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
Requirements
Required
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred, not required)
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
Preferred
Previous experience in manufacturing, food production, or warehouse environment
Experience working in temperature-controlled environments
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 40 to 50 lbs
Comfortable working in cold or refrigerated environments
Ability to perform repetitive tasks
Work Environment
Production facility environment (may include cold, wet, or humid conditions)
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required
Shift work, overtime, and weekends may be required based on production needs
