The Shipping Associate oversees day-to-day operations across receiving, shipping, warehousing, inventory distribution, and logistics. Reporting directly to the Shift Lead and Supervisor, the associate executes operational directives while ensuring strict compliance with all safety protocols, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Safe Quality Food (SQF) standards, and PPE/hygiene policies. The role requires certification and proficiency in operating material handling equipment as designated by facility leadership.
Shift: Thursday to Sunday - 7:00pm to 5:30am
Duties are performed within a cold-storage manufacturing and assembly facility with exposure to controlled temperatures ranging from 10ºF to 40ºF. The environment involves continuous exposure to airborne particles, active mechanical equipment, and operational noise/vibration.
Requires the physical ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift for extended shifts (10 to 12 hours). Must possess manual dexterity to operate tools/equipment and effective oral/auditory communication abilities, with or without reasonable accommodations. Ability to regularly lift/move up to 25 pounds independently and occasionally up to 50 pounds with assistance. Requires sharp close-range and peripheral visual acuity.
