About the team

Creating long-term value for our users is central to Stripe’s mission. The Go-to-Market (GTM) Industries team helps enterprise users and Stripe grow by understanding the challenges businesses face in specific industries and identifying how Stripe can help solve them.

We build Stripe’s expertise across key business verticals and develop the credibility and thought leadership needed to form relationships with industry leaders. In partnership with our GTM and Product teams, Industry Leads define relevant, value-focused solutions, support our users, and identify new sources of value for users and Stripe.

Our team provides industry expertise across Stripe and supports enterprise business development. We partner with enterprise users and large software-as-a-service (SaaS) platforms to address business challenges and help them grow with Stripe.

What you’ll do

As a member of the Global GTM Industries team, the Global Industry Lead for Healthcare will shape Stripe’s growth strategy across the healthcare ecosystem, including providers, payers, digital health companies, pharmacies, and healthcare platforms. You’ll use your industry expertise to define and communicate the value of Stripe’s solutions in a healthcare context and build credibility with senior executives and leaders across the industry.

You’ll partner with Sales, Marketing, Product Marketing, Partnerships, and Product teams to embed healthcare expertise across Stripe, support strategic deals, and develop our GTM strategy. You’ll also lead detailed product and business discussions with existing and prospective users.

Responsibilities

Shape Stripe’s GTM strategy for the next phase of growth in healthcare

Support account teams throughout the sales cycle, from identifying prospective enterprise users and developing pipeline through deal signing and activation

Build relationships with regional sales leaders and contribute to strategic account planning and user engagements

Develop executive-level narratives and presentations, lead detailed product discussions, and communicate Stripe’s value to senior decision-makers

Represent Stripe at industry events, community forums, and online events, offering a differentiated perspective on healthcare, regulatory, and technology trends

Create industry playbooks and lead enablement that helps sales teams understand the healthcare industry and engage users effectively

Partner with Product and Partnerships teams to share industry insights, shape relevant solutions, and build relationships with healthcare technology, implementation, and strategic partners

Who you are

We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

You have experience developing business strategy, supporting business development, and building GTM models. You understand the healthcare ecosystem and the challenges facing providers, payers, digital health companies, pharmacies, and healthcare platforms.

You can define solutions, communicate strategy and tactics, and work across functions and organizational levels. You’re comfortable engaging in business and technical conversations with users, internal stakeholders, and executives. You can build value in competitive situations, develop a detailed understanding of Stripe’s products, and share your expertise with others.

Minimum requirements

12+ years of relevant experience in healthcare, healthcare technology, enterprise software, payments, consulting, or GTM roles, including substantial experience working with healthcare organizations

Experience identifying user needs and translating them into solutions and GTM strategies

Ability to understand complex technical requirements and develop solutions that address the needs of multiple stakeholders

Clear written, verbal, and presentation skills, including experience communicating complex ideas to executives and building collaborative relationships across functions

Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time for industry events, Stripe events, and key user meetings

Preferred qualifications

Experience with payments or enterprise software

Direct or indirect sales experience, including closing new business or expanding existing relationships

Experience advising enterprise organizations on growth, strategy, or GTM challenges

Experience building or growing an industry-focused team or program

Experience in an industry strategy or industry leadership role
