There is a People Technology Integrations Manager - Team Lead (All Genders) vacancy at HelloFresh, and the role is based in New York. The job is full-time and office based. Pay for this role is set at $136,710 to $167,400 a year, according to the posting.

The description below comes from HelloFresh's own job posting.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced People Technology Engineering Manager to join the HelloFresh People Technology leadership team. This role leads the Engineering discipline within People Technology and is responsible for the architecture, capability and delivery of the technical solutions that connect, automate and increasingly enhance our employee technology landscape.

Today, the squad’s primary focus is Workday integrations and connected enterprise systems. Over time, its remit will expand across workflow automation, low-code development, AI-enabled solutions and modern engineering capabilities. You will act as the engineering architect and design authority for People Technology, setting technical direction, shaping architecture and establishing standards that balance delivery speed, scalability, security, maintainability and long-term sustainability. This includes maintaining strong expertise in Workday integrations and emerging platform capabilities such as Workday Orchestrate and Extend / Build.

You will also lead, develop and performance-manage a team of engineers, building capability across integrations, automation and AI engineering. You will create a high-performing environment grounded in technical quality, accountability and continuous learning, while ensuring the squad has the skills, capacity and ways of working needed to meet both current and future demand. While you may remain hands-on where appropriate, your primary focus will be technical leadership, people development, capability building and delivery oversight.

As the senior business partner for engineering, you will represent the discipline across People Technology and work closely with the People function and stakeholders from across the Group. You will help shape roadmaps, influence prioritisation and investment decisions, and translate business needs into scalable engineering solutions. You will also play a central role in determining where AI, automation and intelligent workflows can create measurable value, both by enabling the squad to deliver faster and by building AI-enabled solutions for the wider People Technology organisation.

Above all, we are looking for people who will make HelloFresh better. We value diverse experiences and recognise there are many paths into engineering leadership. Even if you do not meet every requirement, we would still like to hear from you if you believe you would thrive in this role.

What You’ll Do

  • Act as the engineering architect and design authority for People Technology, owning technical standards, patterns and architectural principles across Workday and connected enterprise systems.
  • Shape the end-to-end engineering landscape and make architectural decisions that balance delivery speed, scalability, security, maintainability and long-term sustainability.
  • Lead the evolution of the squad from a primarily integrations-focused team into a broader People Technology engineering capability.
  • Drive adoption of modern Workday capabilities, including Workday Orchestrate, Extend, Build and future platform innovations.
  • Establish AI engineering capability within the People Technology tribe and identify opportunities to apply AI, automation and intelligent workflows.
  • Champion AI-assisted engineering practices that improve productivity, quality and delivery speed, while ensuring responsible security, privacy and governance.
  • Lead, coach and performance-manage engineers, building capability across integrations, APIs, automation, low-code development and AI-enabled solutions.
  • Plan and manage team capacity, resourcing and capability against current priorities and future demand.
  • Act as the senior engineering business partner to People Technology leadership, Product Managers, Functional Leads and business stakeholders, shaping roadmaps, prioritisation and investment decisions.
  • Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions, resolve complex engineering challenges and maintain oversight of technical debt, dependencies, risks and operational resilience.
  • What You’ll Bring

  • Typically 8 to 12+ years of experience in integrations, systems engineering, software engineering or related technical roles.
  • Deep hands-on experience with Workday integrations and the broader Workday technical ecosystem.
  • Strong knowledge of APIs, middleware, enterprise integration platforms and modern integration architecture.
  • Experience acting as a technical architect, design authority or senior engineering lead in a complex enterprise environment.
  • Experience leading and developing technical specialists, including performance management, coaching and capability building.
  • Strong knowledge of Workday Orchestrate, Extend and Build, or the ability to rapidly develop expertise in emerging Workday capabilities.
  • Experience applying automation, AI-assisted development or AI-enabled solutions in an enterprise technology environment.
  • Strong judgement in evaluating emerging technologies, translating them into practical business outcomes and balancing short-term delivery with long-term sustainability.
  • Strong stakeholder management and business-partnering skills, with the ability to influence through clarity, judgement and technical credibility.
  • Experience operating in complex, global organisations with sensitive employee data, supported by a relevant degree or equivalent practical experience and fluency in English.

    What we offer

  • Competitive salary, 401k with company match that vests immediately upon participation
  • Generous PTO, including sabbatical, and parental leave of up to 16 weeks
  • Comprehensive health and wellness benefits with options at $0 monthly, effective first day of employment
  • Tuition reimbursement for continuing education (upon 2 years of service)
  • Up to 85% discount on subscriptions to HelloFresh meal plans (HelloFresh, Green Chef, Everyplate, and Factor_)
  • Access to Employee Resource Groups that are open to all employees, including those pertaining to BIPOC, women, veterans, parents, and LGBTQ+
  • Inclusive, collaborative, and dynamic work environment within a fast-paced, mission-driven company that is disrupting the traditional food supply chain
