Aprio is seeking a Senior Tax Associate to deliver high-quality tax compliance, consulting, and planning services to a diverse portfolio of clients. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to develop and implement effective tax strategies aligned with business goals and evolving regulatory requirements.

  • Key Responsibilities

  • Interact closely with clients to provide tax planning, consulting, and compliance services across diverse industries
  • Oversee the preparation and timely filing of all required tax returns
  • Develop and implement tax strategies that optimize clients' tax positions while considering business goals, industry trends, and regulatory changes
  • Collaborate with clients and provide proactive tax advice and solutions
  • Collaborate with fellow tax professionals by sharing expertise and contributing to a culture of continuous learning and development
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service
  • Actively participate in project coordination and contribute to training initiatives that strengthen the tax department's overall effectiveness
  • Candidate Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in federal tax consulting and/or compliance in public accounting
  • Experience with Corporate, S-Corp, and/or Partnership returns
  • Recent work experience with an accounting firm
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skillsProficiency in tax software and technology
  • Preferred: CPA or actively pursuing CPA licensure
